Ballistic Studios would like to welcome you to the official website of our inaugural product, Infantry Warfighter. Our mission is to transcend the "stagnant" state of game development and design for the Modern Warfare First Person Shooter genre. Our key focus as a studio is to bring an experience to the public that has not been experienced before. How say you? Well all we can tell you is we have worked feverishly to develop a game that will accomplish this. So feverishly that anyone who was ever a past member of this studio truly has no clue to what we are working on, in order to bring this product to its finality. We at Ballistic Studios are sincere when we say "we believe that the Modern Combat First Person Shooter isn't grinding down, but is actually just beginning." It is our studios' mission to show you through the product we create called Infantry Warfighter which will be "The Definitive Warfighter" for the MWFPS community. In keeping with the Ballistic Studios way we have every intent and purpose to take "the road less traveled." And not only create a studio that is not the norm, but to also create games that reflect that same philosophy, form and function when developing AAA games. Warfighter |
Two different "Warfighter" titles have already been proposed or hit the market in the past decade; so why "Infantry Warfighter"? The term Warfighter is nothing new to the market and was actually first delivered by Ubisoft with the Tom Clancy title Advanced Warfighter. More recently, Electronic Arts announced MOH: Warfighter in Spring 2012 so why another Warfighter? Infantry Warfighter (IW) best describes the product we are going to deliver to the market and its emphasis and focus of experiencing the full spectrum of this warfare. Take any moment of time in the history of war, and on the field of battle, and this is what it boils down to; the Infantry. You can't hold ground with tech (that usually takes a Warfighter to employ it), you can't hold ground with artillery or armor, and you sure can't hold ground with just Air. (Sorry Navy, we love you but ships need ports). While all of those elements remain very important players and factors in war, and will be present in IW; to win engagements, to win battles, and to win wars, you need to do it with boots on the ground kicking up dust, taking objectives and claiming and holding territory. To win wars it comes down to the Infantry Warfighter. |

Our Warfighter |
Infantry Warfighter is a "Modern Combat First Person Shooter" (MCFPS). Great big sigh right? In truth we empathize with the fan base. Because we at Ballistic Studios have all been a part of that exact fan base. In a world saturated with MCFPS how does anybody begin to make a product for a genre that has been overworked by a greedy mentality and motivation? Simple, STILL, no one has ultimately done it right. As one MCFPS franchise or sequel comes out after another, PC or console based, we as fans find ourselves experiencing utter disappointment with some titles, moderate satisfaction with others, but persistently find ourselves wanting more out of every single MCFPS that has been released. Ballistic Studios believes it can satisfy this desire in players because we are military enthusiasts first, gamers second, game designers, programmers, and artists third. That can sound crazy but we believe it is truly the core of the strength of our studio and what will ultimately bring success for this title. Because of this; Infantry Warfighter will have no rival in providing a fresh and new experience that will be satisfying to both the hardcore gamer and military enthusiast alike. |
